DAVEY SALMON QC
Senior Counsel
Davey Salmon, QC focuses on trial and appellate advocacy as lead counsel. He appears in all levels of the New Zealand Courts and in domestic and international arbitrations.
His clients include major corporate clients in the forestry, construction and telecommunications industries and work undertaken covers the spectrum from large scale complex commercial litigation, to sensitive high-value relationship property matters and difficult media law issues.
Davey is recommended in dispute resolution in Chambers and the Asia Pacific Legal 500.

Ali van Ammers is an Auckland based barrister with significant experience in litigation. A passionate, client focused advocate, Ali is a clear thinking and technically excellent lawyer with strong analytical skills and sound judgment, she provides top quality representation and legal advice to a wide range of clients.
Ali was admitted in 2009 and joined the independent bar in 2019, after working at Russell McVeagh, Crown Law and, most recently, MinterEllisonRuddWatts.
SCOTT RUSSELL

Scott Russell has worked at the highest level in private practice, in-house roles and in the government sector and provides a unique ability to solve complex legal problems gained from his practical experience working on all sides of the table.
Before founding Russell Legal, Scott worked as Senior Legal Counsel at the Commerce Commission. His experience also includes working in private practice at Bell Gully, before moving to London and Hong Kong with Ashurst. He then moved in-house as Head of Litigation at Virgin Media UK.
